Not only is JLo’s recent manicure a different color than we’ve come to expect from her, but the shape is more trendy too. Bachik revealed in his Instagram post that he used Aprés Nails Coffin Tips in Maisie ($13) and prepped her hands with his array of Tweezerman tools. Then, he used CND’s Shellac Black Cherry ($17) to create the autumnal, wintery style.
Black cherry nails have been trending for months now. JLo’s recent use of the style proves that the trend is not losing steam. It might even be solidified as one of those timeless colors à la Linkin Park After Dark or Wicked.
