Meghan Trainor admits she may have gone overboard with Botox during the Wednesday, November 20, episode of her podcast Workin’ On It. The 30-year-old singer opened up about the aftermath of getting a lip flip, explaining that the upper lip-enhancing cosmetic treatment left her unable to smile.

“Someone convinced me with my little lips that if you did a lip flip, you put filler right above your upper lip, that you could have a beautiful flip on your upper lip,” she shared. “And I could have one for the first time in my whole 30 years of living—it was not true. I cannot smile anymore.” Reflecting on the experience, Trainor added, “Don’t try everything.”

On why she wants a ‘boob job’…

Despite the unexpected outcome of her lip flip, Trainor is still a fan of cosmetic treatments and has her sights set on breast augmentation, a procedure she’s been considering for years. “I’m getting a boob job,” Trainor revealed during the episode, explaining why. “My mommy boobies were full of milk and now they’re empty and then they’re full of milk and now they’re empty. They got big, they got small, they got big, they got small. I’ve lost some weight and I have, like, saggy sacks as boobs.”

She also shared how the changes have impacted her wardrobe choices. “What’s really difficult is when I’m trying on all these amazing outfits for tour and for shows coming up, I have to wear the most supportive bras,” the “All About That Bass” hitmaker explained. “It could ruin the outfit. And they squeeze my sides.”

Trainor revealed that breast augmentation is something she’s been considering for years. “I have wanted this my whole life,” she said. “So I’m going to have boobies that don’t look at the floor and it’s going to be huge.”

When it comes to the specifics, Trainor is leaning toward a subtle enhancement. “I’m just getting a lift. Maybe a little implant just so they’re like, ‘We are boobs,’ ‘cause right now, they are not,” she said. “But I love them, love my body and I’ve been wanting this for years.”

While it sounds like she’s hoping to keep the change modest, Trainor stressed that the confidence boost it brings will be “huge” and for her—and, honestly, for so many of us—that’s everything.
