To categorize each state’s dental health, the Dental SEO Company based its findings on scores in areas with dentistry access, habits and oral health conditions. Statistics with higher dental health and dental care scores rank as a “pearly white” while those states facing harsher miles rank as “slightly stained.”
In terms of which states shined the brightest, Connecticut takes the cake with the most outstanding scores in dental care. The number two spot is the District of Columbia, which has the highest access to fluoridated water. With high dental and oral health conditions, Massachusetts is number three. Due to being a leader in dental care, Illinois remains at number four despite its slight drop in overall dental care in recent years. Right across from the city that never sleeps, New Jersey earns a spot in the top 10 states with the brightest teeth.
Although many states have brightening technology, many areas were unfortunately recognized as states with the worst smile. The dental ranking for Louisiana is number one for the most stained. Coming in at number two, West Virginia earned one of the lowest scores for dental hygiene. The slightly stained group welcomes Mississippi with open arms due to the state’s significant dental health challenges.
