This month we spotlight breast cancer awareness and all the brands and organizations working to rid the world of the deadly disease. According to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), breast cancer is the most common cancer in women worldwide and the most common cancer diagnosed in American women. It is a leading cause of cancer death in less-developed countries and the second leading cause of cancer death in American women.
Each October, we love seeing the beauty industry band together, with brands donating millions of dollars (collectively) to this ever-important cause. If you have a favorite product participating, or perhaps there’s something you’ve been wanting to try, this month is the time to add it to your cart. Your purchase of the products below will directly contribute funds to research, education, empowerment and more. It’s time to think pink!
Estée Lauder Pink Ribbon Advanced Night Repair Serum ($128)
The brand’s best-selling serum and a global icon when it comes to reducing signs of aging is now dressed in limited-edition pink packaging to support the cause. Estée Lauder will donate 20 percent of the purchase price of each serum to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), which was founded by the late Evelyn H. Lauder, a true visionary. BCRF’s mission is to create a breast cancer-free world, and to date, it has funded more than $100 million in medical research.
RevitaLash Cosmetics RevitaLash Advanced ($100)
RevitaLash is unique that it supports breast cancer awareness year-round, and not just in October, by donating a portion of proceeds from every product sold. The brand calls it the “Eternally Pink Pledge,” which has contributed more than $9 million to the cause since 2008. These global contributions are made to therapeutic services for cancer patients, nursing education, empowering fundraisers, and crucial grants supporting cutting-edge research. The brand’s commitment is especially meaningful because it “honors the courage and strength” of its cofounder, the late Gayle Brinkenhoff, who battled the disease.
This cult-classic lash serum is a NewBeauty Award Winner that continues to wow us time and time again. Just take a look at the before-and-afters!

Laura Geller Beauty Fran Drescher’s Cancer Schmancer Kit ($59)
A survivor of breast cancer herself, Laura Geller is passionate about advocating for early detection and continuing to spread awareness through her brand. This year, it is donating 50 percent of the proceeds from the sale of this bundle to Cancer Schmancer, which is the brand’s highest donation amount to date.
The limited-edition bundle curated by actress Fran Drescher (also a cancer survivor) includes the Dual-Ended Blush + Eyeshadow Precision Brush Duo and the Everyday Heroes Baked Trio, which features her signature Italian-made (and baked) blush, highlighter and eyeshadow.
Trademark Beauty Sunny Styler ($89)
This month, Trademark Beauty is donating 50 percent of the proceeds from this multitasking styling tool to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Great for dry and/or damaged hair types that find other stylers too harsh, this iron curls and straightens with ease, but also features cooling air vents that minimize damage. The cooling also helps boost shine and set your hairstyle. If you want one tool that does both jobs—and well—this is the one to try.
Carmell Secretome Regenerative Elixir ($249)
This month, Carmell is donating 100 units of its high-tech Regenerative Elixir (a $25,000 value) to local breast cancer community organizations to support those navigating skin-care needs alongside their treatment and recovery. This velvety cream represents the latest in regenerative skin care thanks to its signature Carmell Secretome.
This proprietary formulation comprises 1,000 proteins and peptides derived from allogeneic human platelets, which are then mixed with a blend of bio-lipids, bio-hydrators, vitamins, minerals and botanicals. It’s the ultimate dark spot treatment, though it simultaneously reduces visible signs of inflammaging, too.
SAINT JANE Hydrating Petal Cream ($68)
During the month of October, SAINT JANE is donating 100 percent of its sales of this ultra-luxe cream to The Pink Agenda, a nonprofit organization that raises money for breast cancer research and care. Inspired by flower petals and “their ability to retain beauty through deep hydration,” this formula includes essences from hibiscus, magnolia, daisy and other flowers, as well as hyaluronic acid and vitamin C. Together, they help boost elasticity and deeply hydrate dry skin.
LYS Beauty Higher Standards Cream Glow Blush Stick ($20)
For the second consecutive year, the brand will donate 100 percent of the net proceeds for the sales of its creamy blush sticks (only via the brand’s website) to The Pink Agenda. Available in seven flattering shades, the blush features hydrating watermelon extract, soothing green tea extract and moisturizing rosehip oil, which allows it to blend seamlessly. The naturally dewy finish is also great for those who have dry skin.
The A Method Reti-XO Retinol Exosome Serum ($349)
A brand-new launch developed by Washington, D.C. dermatologist Tina Alster, MD, this is the first serum on the market to combine all-trans retinol with plant exosomes (copper peptides are also in the mix). To celebrate its debut, The A Method has partnered with the National Breast Cancer Foundation to donate 10 percent of proceeds from Reti-XO units purchased in October. (The special pink packaging pictured here will only be available this month).
Use the serum at night to boost skin elasticity and minimize the appearance of lines and wrinkles for firmer, healthier, younger-looking skin.
AVEDA Hand Relief Moisturizing Creme ($20)
Dry hands get a new lease on life with this nongreasy hand cream, which also boasts the brand’s yummy cherry-almond scent. Formulated with andiroba oil and other plant-based hydrating ingredients, this ultra-rich cream nourishes and smooths throughout the day. Plus, AVEDA will donate 50 percent of the purchase price ($10) to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). You can get this formula year-round, but the pink packaging and cherry-almond scent are limited-edition.
