While nail trends can come and go fairly quickly, one it-girl style that has never faded—only changed forms—is that of chrome nails. Whether you’re adding a touch of chrome to your French tips or going for a full chrome effect, the powder finishing product is the perfect way to spice up your everyday manicure.

When it comes to celebrity nail inspiration, though, Hailey Bieber is always at the forefront, with followers eager to see what her next mani is to inform the hottest trends. If you’re in a rut for nail styles to get you into fall, Bieber’s nail artist Zola Ganzorigt has you covered with her latest creation: olive glaze nails.

Bieber’s Nail Guru Deems Olive Chrome Nails the Hottest Fall Trend

We’ve come a long way since we first started experimenting with chrome nails—gone are the days where chrome was reserved for occasions calling for futuristic, silver vibes. Now, you can add different shades of chrome on top of any nail color to create a multidimensional look, which is exactly what Ganzorigt did to create her chic olive glaze nails.

As demonstrated by her Instagram tutorial, Ganzorigt achieved the classy olive chrome look by painting on a base coat of OPI’s Intelligel in Suzi The First Lady of Nails ($12)—a gorgeous, olive green shade perfect for the cooler weather—before layering on the brand’s Tin Man Chrome Powder (salon only). The result is to die for, giving a shiny, chrome appearance at first glance but featuring those deeper, olive shades on a closer look.
