Joey King may have a packed New York Fashion Week schedule, but one thing has stayed consistent amid her ever-evolving wardrobe: her nail polish. The 25-year-old actress is currently sporting a classic red manicure courtesy of her go-to manicurist, Elle Gerstein. She’s already stunned in the polish shade for a number of Fashion Week events, including the Ralph Lauren and Longchamp shows, as well as Vogue’s Fashion For Our Future march. As the weekend unfolds, we’re eagerly watching to see how many more times the dark red nail polish will make its mark.

Fortunately for us, Gerstein posted up-close photos of King’s nails to her Instagram grid and even shared a product breakdown in the caption in case you’re inclined to recreate the look. She revealed that she used Gelish Professional’s Fifteen Minutes of Frame ($17.50) to bring her red manicure to life. The color is defined as a warm chestnut hue with cranberry red undertones that screams fall is right around the corner. To complete the look, Gerstein added a few drops of Gelish Professional’s Top It Off Sealer Gel Top Coat ($16.50) for a rich, jelly-like red with a high-gloss finish.

King’s in great company; she’s not the only celeb recently flaunting a red manicure. Just days ago, Selena Gomez stepped out with her own striking red nails at the Season 4 premiere of Only Murders in the Building. Her manicurist, Tom Bachik, used Aprés Nail Gel Color in Hearts and Likes, captioning the look on Instagram: “Sexy, chic, and sophisticated… Red nails say it all.” And he’s right!

A friendly reminder as you think about your first few fall manicures: “Red nails are one of the longest trending nail styles out there that has never gone out of fashion,” Alexandra Teleki (@thehotblend) told NewBeauty previously.“Red is one of the foundations to our skin color and it’s the reason that it suits everyone.” To find the ideal shade of red polish for you, Teleki recommends the following: “People with warm skin undertones complement reds that has orange or coral undertones. While cool skin tones usually complements reds that have blue or pink undertones. Neutral skin tones get the best of both worlds!”
