Nicola Coughlan isn’t gatekeeping her favorite skin-care brand. In a recent red carpet interview with E! News, the 37-year-old actress revealed that she relies on a certain famous Japanese American skin care brand to keep her skin looking so radiant.
“What is your skin care routine because you’re just stunning and glowing and we love it?” asked the interviewer. “Right now it’s Tatcha, they’re killing it, I love it,” the Bridgerton star replied, adding “lots of water and sleep, also growing up without sunshine in the West of Ireland.”
Coughlan didn’t initially reveal which Tatcha skin care products she relies on. However, she took to Instagram just days later to give her 3.7 million Instagram followers the complete rundown of her nighttime routine. She captioned the video: “Bridgerton 3 Day is finally here! The post press glam is also ready to come off thanks to my fave @tatcha skincare.”
Step 1: Cleansing Oil
She starts with “two squirts” of the Tatcha Camellia Cleansing Oil. “I really love a cleansing oil because it feels like it really grabs and gets rid of everything on your skin and it also smells really beautiful, so it’s like nice and aromatherapeutic for the end of the day,” she told viewers.
Step 2: Face Cream
Then, she uses her “favorite,” product from the Tatcha line: the Dewy Skin Cream. “This is incredible under makeup. It leaves your skin so nice and soft,” she explained. “Obviously I’m not putting on makeup now because I’m going to bed, but it leaves your skin feeling so nice. It’s a really rare cream in that you feel both really moisturized but not overly layered.”
“What I love about it is that it feels like it sinks in really quickly and like your skin soaks it up. It doesn’t sit on the surface of the skin; it leaves it really, really, really nice and glowy” she continued, applying it to her neck as well. “Someone once said a lady gets a line on her neck every decade,” she added while pressing it into her skin. “That’s cool, it makes me feel like a tree.”
Step 3: Lip Mask
As the final step in her routine, she reaches for the Kissu Lip Mask, which comes with a built-in spatula applicator. “It’s really nice and thick and jelly-like,” she said while applying a layer to her lips. “When you wake up in the morning, your lips are nice and plump and ready for the day.”
Coughlan certainly isn’t alone in her love for Tatcha. In that initial video posted by E! News, fans raced to the comments to share their great experiences with the brand. “As an Irish girl who drinks lots of water, Tatcha has single-handedly saved my acne-prone skin, and I will not use anything else ever again.” That comment has since garnered over 5,000 “likes.” Another person wrote: “Tatcha is worth the money!! I can’t use anything else after using it for over a year.”
