Most recently, one TikTok user went viral after sharing her story of how an overheated Bath & Body Works air freshener led her to a costly hospital visit with severe burns and ocular damage. If you have one of these air fresheners in your car, you may want to take a look at this.
Bath & Body Works Air Freshener Causes Severe Physical Damage
User @kyndal_bret on TikTok posted a video in March that has since amassed over 4 million likes, explaining how the Bath & Body Works air freshener in her car overheated and landed her in the hospital. While showing clips of her in the hospital blotting cold towels on her burns, the user wrote “POV: a Bath & Body Works car air freshener overheated and exploded in your face and now you have ocular damage and chemical burns.”
As if the footage of her burns and the description of her injuries wasn’t enough, the user also showed video of the interior of the car after the air freshener overheated, and the interior is bleached as a result of the exploded fluid, emphasizing how hazardous the contents truly were.
