In celeb-beauty news we didn’t know we needed, Ken Jeong just dropped his must-haves and his sunscreen selection is seriously impressive.
“Last year, I was filming The Afterparty for Apple and had a two-week break,” Jeong shared. “I wanted to go on vacation with my family to Yellowstone and hike, but I knew I had to go back to filming immediately after. I bought this sunscreen before the trip, because it’s clear, reef-friendly and SPF 100. It feels like any other sunscreen, but it’s more effective than the others. I came back from very sunny, summery hikes without a huge tan in between takes and scenes.”
The clear sunscreen also gets a lot of seals of approval from Amazon reviewers, with one commenter saying it successfully stands up to the Arizona sun.
“I love the way this sunscreen smells. It’s not like any others that I’ve tried. It does smell like sunscreen, but not in a chemical or fragrance way…it’s a little hard to describe. I find that it does leave me looking a little shiny, but I’ve never found one that doesn’t, even when they claim to be grease-/oil-free so I won’t knock it for that. I reapply every two hours like it says, and I’ve never been burned when out in the scorching Arizona desert sun. I tend to have pretty sensitive skin and have not experienced any issues with this sunscreen bothering my skin.”
