There’s been a lot of ’90s-inspired moments on the red carpet and social media these past few weeks, but Denise Richards may have just single-handedly won the hair-volume game.
As shared on celeb hair stylist Laura Rugetti’s Instagram, Richards got some “extra volume” during a recent shoot, courtesy of UNITE’s brand-new Boosta Finishing Spray ($32).
The oil-absorbing and tapioca starch–rich spray just launched today and, as Rugetti said herself, “it gives the best volume and all-day, long-lasting hold”—all while leaving hair looking shiny, fresh and full of touchable volume.
As far as the steps for recreating Richards’ up-do, Rugetti also shares specifics: “I sectioned the hair by parting it down the middle, into two sections. Then, I separated the top section into two parts, sprinkling UNITE’s EXPANDA Dust ($30) throughout the hair to volumize and plump up the look.” This talc-free volumizing finishing powder instantly adds volume, grip, texture and hold to all hair types. It’s weightless, translucent and ideal for all hair types.”
For finishing touches, she applied TEXTURIZA Spray ($38) throughout the updo for added fullness and texture. “I then used UNITE’s new BOOSTA Finishing Spray ($32) throughout the style for all-over volume and hold,” she says. “I also applied this directly at the roots for an instant root lift.”
