You may think that handling life as a famous actress would mean an extensive self-care and beauty routine to keep her looking and feeling her best, but the now 41-year-old just revealed that this $2 lip product has in fact one of her all-time, can’t-live-without beauty essentials for the last 30 years.
In a recent video for Allure, the actress walked viewers through her everyday, 10-minute beauty routine, but made sure to stop and give some proper attention to what she claims has been her “favorite thing of all time” for the last 30 years. Believe it or not, the A-lister’s favorite product is none other than Lip Smacker’s Dr. Pepper flavored lip balm. “I’ve recently learned that they have discontinued Dr. Pepper Lip Smackers,” she begins, tenderly holding the beloved product with both hands, “this is very tragic.” Bilson went on to reveal that, having heard the devastating news, she “scoured the internet” and got her hands on a few of the lip balms which she now has “locked in a vault” in her room because she can “never be without them.”
All jokes aside, Bilson did acknowledge that there are several similar products and that she is in the product of finding a suitable replacement. Aside from the nostalgia, the star explains that she loves the soda-flavored balm because it gives “just a little bit of color” and is in fact one of the only lip products she’s that actually hydrates her lips.
