Mandy Moore is consistently on my short list of highly anticipated celebrity red-carpet looks—I still can’t get over that red gown and matching red lip at last year’s Emmys (and the high pony with bangs—so good!). At last night’s Critics’ Choice Awards, the This Is Us star stunned again, but this time in a very natural, goddess-like look and the spotlight on her golden, glowing skin.
Though the actress is a Cali girl, this glow wasn’t the result of time in the sun, but rather the latest launch (coming April 7) from Beautyblender called Bounce Magic Fit Creamy Bronzer & Highlighter Duo, and Moore’s makeup artist Kindra Mann was one of the first to get her hands on it.
On moisturized skin, Mann first applied Bounce Skin Tint in Light 4 and then Bounce Airbrush Liquid Whip Concealer in 3.10 Medium Buff where needed, using, you guessed it, a wet Beautyblender. Then, to give Moore’s skin a bronzy sheen and contoured cheek, Mann used the new bronzer/highlighter duo in Champagne/Topaz (the medium shade of the four options available). “I dusted this on the cheekbones and down the neck chest to warm up the skin and make it dewy as well,” she says. “I finished the complexion with a pop of Bounce Cream Blush in Playful Peach just on the apples of the cheeks.”
